Tap for the Stack Overflow XML dump files available at Archive.org. Intended as a loader plugin testing aid.

The tap-stackoverflow-sampledata extractor pulls data from Stack Overflow Sample Data that can then be sent to a destination using a loader.

A path to the StackOverflow XML data files.

Environment variable: TAP_STACKOVERFLOW_SAMPLEDATA_BATCH_CONFIG_ENCODING_COMPRESSION

Currently the only compression options is gzip

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

Flattening Enabled (flattening_enabled)

'True' to enable schema flattening and automatically expand nested properties.

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-stackoverflow-sampledata set flattening_enabled [value]

Flattening Max Depth (flattening_max_depth)

Environment variable: TAP_STACKOVERFLOW_SAMPLEDATA_FLATTENING_MAX_DEPTH

The max depth to flatten schemas.
